To all the families of children who will enter Teacher Amanda’s Kindergarten Class at Southwest Charter School this fall — Welcome!

This Thursday, August 15th we’ll be gathering from 10 am – 1 pm at Johnson Creek Park in SE Portland.

Johnson Creek Park, located at SE 21st Ave & Clatsop St. is an ideal meeting spot with a playground, plenty of shade and a shallow creek to play in. Siblings and pets on a leash are welcome, too!

These gatherings continue a tradition started by parent Sharon Decker of offering several opportunities for the kindergarten families to meet before they begin school.
