Parent Sarah Mutal has organized a summer get-together for SW Charter families and friends tomorrow, Wednesday, August 14 at 12 pm at Vancouver Lake Regional Park, just 30 minutes outside Portland.

We hope you’ll join us for a day of fun, swimming and play!

Here’s the basics:

What’s there:  free parking, a sandy beach, swimming area, a grassy lawn, volleyball nets.

What to bring:  shovels, inflatable boats, pfd’s, kites, volleyball, soccer ball, food, remote control cars and boats, umbrella, sunscreen, camping chairs, dogs on leash, friends, and family.

What’s not there:  shade, lifeguard, food, and fishing.

As you enter the park, turn left and park by the bathrooms, then look for a cluster of blankets on the grass. That will be us.
