The 8th Grade Class is coordinating International Walk+Bike to School Day on Wednesday, October 9th!

We are in great need of 6 more parent volunteers to help with  safety patrol at this event to make it a success.

To participate drop off your kids at Willamette Park, starting at 7:20. We will leave at 7:45. Your kids will be accompanied by chaperones, including parents and eighth graders. In school families (the Otters, the Bears, the Hawks, etc.), we shall walk or bike along the bike path to SWCS.  There will be prizes, refreshments, and even a raffle! Walking and biking is important for exercise and to reduce the amount of traffic in the South Waterfront neighborhood. Hope to see you there!
