In December 2012, Friends of SW Charter held a Sunday “Crafternoon” where families could come do clay with Mike and visit several other crafting stations set up in the Great Room. All the materials used, with the exception of the clay, were items we already had on hand at school. It was a fun time for all who attended!
This year, we are planning another community “Crafternoon” in early February before Valentine’s Day. In addition to hands-on craft stations for families, we’d like to have a craft sale featuring handmade items created by our talented community members. We know that there are many of you who knit, crochet, sew, make jewelry, do paper arts, paint, make soap, and more either as a business or hobby. We would love for you to share your creations with our community at this event!
If you’d be interested in selling your wares at the sale, we’d love to hear from you! Either leave a comment here or send an email to Liz Ward firstname.lastname@example.org.
