Thank you to everyone who donated new and gently used books to our spring community service event to benefit the Children’s Book Bank!
We kicked off our drive on Monday, March 31st at our community movie day at the Clinton Street Theater. Since then, we have collected over 100 books for the Children’s Book Bank.
CBB gathers thousands of new and gently-used books from the community and organizes volunteers to spruce up and sort donated books. They then create individual bags filled with books and stories which are delivered to children who might not otherwise have books of their own at home.
Thank you for combing your children’s bookshelves and donating any outgrown, forgotten, or unloved books that can be upcycled to another child. Your donations will be very much appreciated!
