Site & Event Auction Chairperson ~ February 28, 2015

We’re looking for an ORGANIZED, energetic & fun person to fill the Site & Event Night Chairperson spot for this year’s auction.
This person will work in coordination with the Procurement Chairs (Juli Amato Kirby & Carrie Powell Hartley) and Sponsorship Team (Sarah Urlwin Mutal, Lorien Sekora& Josh Kirby) and will oversee the following: Decor team; Day of Event teams; and PR/Marketing.

Room Parents/Class Representatives

Volunteers are needed as Room Parents to help assist teachers with communicating information, gathering volunteers, finding a coordinator for the class art project that will be in the school auction, and generally helping as needed.

This job does not take a great deal of time. It allows you to get to know your child’s teacher, and is mostly sending emails, or whatever the teacher may need.

The Room Parent Coordinator (Elise Christman theotherken@comcast.net ) will be there to help guide you throughout the year. If you are interested, please contact Elise directly, or speak with your child’s teacher.

Run for the Arts 2014 ~ After Event Coordinator

Time commitment: After Event (several days in school office after last deadline, several hours until Winter Break)
Duties:
- Photocopy forms
- Track and announce donations as they come in
- Copy and record cash/checks
- Work with Karen on deposits to SWCS and Young Audiences (YA)
- Deliver donations to YA
- Resolve problems, lost forms, etc.
- Order YA prizes and t-shirts
- Ask Marlene to create video
- Arrange all-school prize with Anne
- Distribute prizes
- Create/send out thank-you’s
- Arrange class parties, etc.
- Work with Friends of SW Charter to set up next year’s coordinators
