Help Name our “Buddy Bench”!

The buddy bench is a simple idea to eliminate loneliness and foster friendship on the playground. Let’s spread the message of inclusion and kindness!

A “Buddy Bench” or an “Idea Bench” is a place for kids to sit during recess if they would like someone to play with, or need a new game idea.

If you are bored or alone, or need a different game to play at recess, then go sit on the “Buddy Bench” and someone else will come along to play with you. If you see someone sitting on the “Buddy Bench”, then go sit down with them and you both can play a new game together!

We would like a new name for the “Buddy Bench”. Something that the students come up with! Please put suggestions in the box at the front desk!

Suggestions taken through this next week, and we’ll get our newly named bench outside in January. We can’t wait to hear your ideas!
